Essay Body and its Functions
The main body of the essay is supposed to describe your main idea. For the reader to believe that it is a trusted piece of information you need to use relevant facts and evidence.
The body part of your paper is what makes your thesis work or why it fails if there is not enough evidence. It has to provide extended information about the topic you chose. It also has to be the biggest part of the essay consisting of at least three paragraphs. You need to inform reader about your topic in great detail for it to be a worthy paper. Do not throw random suggestions or trivial facts into your writing as it will cause your readers to lose interest in your paper.
The body of the essay is to be built in a strictly consistent and logical order. Each sentence has to be a continuation of the thought expressed in the previous one. Every paragraph of the body has to discuss one point relying on information formally researched. Once the point is stated in the opening sentence of the paragraph, stay focused on it throughout the whole paragraph. In this manner the body of the essay will have a coherent sequence of ideas and argumentation, creating a solid base for the closing part of the paper.
