Introduction Length

   The entire purpose of the introduction is to give some basic facts about the rest of the paper to the reader. Please be reminded that it should not be a lengthy and boring paragraph full of statements and ideas. It has to be one very important and clear statement around which the rest of the paper will be built. You need to make is a few sentences, not more than ten otherwise the reader will be lost. Do not overload your sentences with information and difficult to read words. Simplicity and relevance is your key to your audience’s hearts. Try thinking of a beginning that would interest you as a reader and write just the same however you do need to take into consideration other people’s frame of reference.
